Meet Serena (Senior Director)

Serena is a veteran to this program with this being her 11th year.  She started as a tutor back in 2005 when she was doing her undergrad in Biology and Physiology. Soon later she moved on to being a core volunteer for a year.  She then became the Director of Core Volunteers for 4 years and now this is her fifth year being a Director of the Saturday Program. She is currently working as an Medical Administratror in many diagnostic clinics.  In her free time she helps people plan weddings. She enjoys hiking when given the chance to get away from the city.  Winter hiking in the cold is preferred as bugs in the summer can get on her nerves.

Meet Dario (Co-Director)

Dario is a graduate student at the University of Toronto. He completed his undergraduate degree at UofT studying physiology and immunology. He is now working on his masters with the department of immunology studying how changes in the function of the immune system lead to the development of systemic lupus erythematosus. Dario has been a tutor with the Saturday Program for the last two years. Outside of research and tutoring, he enjoys running and playing board games with friends.

Meet Emily (Co-Director)
