The Saturday Program is one of the largest Community Affairs programs under the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and the largest Community Affairs program under the U of T Medical Society with a 20-year history. It is a tutoring and mentorship program for over 150 selected TDSB students in grades 8 to 12 who have demonstrated the desire to explore their potential but are not achieving their academic goals due to a lack of resources or otherwise. Students are provided with one-on-one tutoring/mentoring sessions with University of Toronto students and educational workshops. We have helped more than 2000 students become more successful in their academic endeavours, gain self-confidence,establish friendships, and learn more about future career options. The program runs Saturday mornings from January to April each year in the Medical Sciences Building (MSB).
